Bowling Green Teen Injured After Collision with Farm Implement
A collision between an SUV and a slow-moving farm vehicle results in minor injuries for a Bowling Green teen Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 2:55 p.m. Saturday on Highway 61 near Pike County Road 300.
17-year-old Dustin Betz of Curryville was traveling southbound in a Ford Explorer when he came upon a slow-moving southbound tractor pulling a trailer.
Troopers say Betz failed to recognize the speed of the tractor. He swerved to the left, striking the trailer.
A passenger in the Betz vehicle, 17-year-old Brittany Ors, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital Lincoln by ambulance.
