Foley Man Dies in Pike County Crash Thursday

A Foley, Missouri man dies from injuries suffered in a one-car crash on Route P east of County Road 200 in Pike County at 6:25 p.m. Thursday.

The Highway Patrol reports 37 year old Jeremiah Hampshire was eastbound and failed to negotiate a curve. His car ran off the road and struck several trees.

Hampshire was taken to Mercy Hospital in Troy for treatment of minor injuries.    A passenger, 27 year old Kayla Risby of Elsberry, was taken to St. Joseph Health Center East in St. Charles for treatment of serious injuries.

A second passenger, 23 year old Jacob Roper of Foley, was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner Jim Turner.
