Bowling Green Police Chief Search Continues

Bowling Green has gotten several police chief applications.

City Administrator Dan Lang said the resumes have come from within the department and from outside it. The deadline for applying is October 1. The salary is negotiable.
The person chosen will replace Don Wickenhauser, who left August 31 after four years to take a similar job in suburban St. Louis.

The city hopes to have a new chief named by January 1.
