A Hannibal teen has been bound over to face charges in connection with a shooting and botched robbery last November.

In Marion County Associate Court Monday, 16 year old Austin Anderson waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the 10th Judicial Circuit to face a charge of attempted robbery.

Anderson and three others are alleged to have tried to rob 29 year old Ronald Gillum, Jr. at his residence on Park Avenue last November 20th. Gillum suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound in the incident.

The other three involved in the incident, 18 year old Thomas Willemarck III, 22 year old John Newman and 25 year old Stephanie Pettit, have already been sentenced for their respective roles in the crime.

Anderson will be back in court for an arraignment hearing June 5th.
