A Hannibal teen has been certified as an adult and charged in connection with a robbery and shooting in Hannibal last November.

In a press release, Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton said that 16 year old Austin Anderson has been charged with attempted robbery in the shooting of 29 year old Ronald Gillum at his home in the 1700 block of Park Avenue November 20th.

Anderson becomes the fourth defendant charged with attempted robbery in connection with the case. 18 year old Thomas Willemarck of Curryville is serving a ten year prison sentence. 25 year old Stephanie Pettit of Hannibal was sentenced to probation in exchange for her cooperation. 22 year old John Newman’s case is still pending in Marion County Circuit Court.
