Arraignment Today in Hannibal Murder Case

Arraignment is scheduled today in Marion County Circuit Court for a man accused of killing his father in early 2015.

30 year old Carl Goldberg is scheduled to be arraigned on second degree murder and armed criminal action charges in the death of 84 year old Carl Maxwell. Hannibal Police say Maxwell was found dead in a freezer in a Hannibal residence in October. Police say he was killed with a cross bow. Goldberg was arrested in Nevada after the body was found. Goldberg is held in the Marion County Jail on one million dollars bond.
