A man charged with leading authorities on a high-speed chase in Pike County will be arraigned September Fourth.


20-year-old Cory Volberding of Iowa City Iowa is accused of resisting arrest by failing to stop and creating a substantial risk to others.
Authorities say the suspect refused to stop after a Pike County deputy allegedly clocked him going more than 85 miles per hour on Highway 61 near Edgewood around 7:45 p.m. August 21st.
The chase ended in the motorcycle crashing at the west edge of Eolia. Authorities say the suspect had minor injuries but declined treatment. He is free on five thousand dollars cash bond.
