Adams County State’s Attorney Jon Barnard Will Not Seek Re-Election

Adams County’s State’s Attorney will not seek reelection next year.

In a press release, Jon Barnard announced Thursday that he will complete his third term as State’s Attorney in December of 2016 and will not file to run for a fourth term.

Barnard cited accomplishments during his time in office, like the creation of the Adams County Drug Court and the doubling of the felony conviction rate.
