Adams County Grass Fires

(QUINCY)—Quincy Tri Township Firefighters extinguished three grass fires in the last 24 hours.

The brush truck was called out at 8:20 Friday morning for a grass fire in the median of I-172 just south of the State Street overpass. The cause is undetermined.

Tri Township crews put out two other grass fires on Thursday. One on Illinois 96 near South 48th and another along Gardner Expressway.
