Accused Quincy Bank Robber In Court

(QUINCY)—A man charged in several bank robberies including the December 26th hold up of First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust in Quincy enters a not guilty plea to four robberies in Illinois.  37 year old Willie B. Franklin is charged in US District Court. A copy of the indictment says 21-hundred dollars was taken from the Quincy bank in a midday robbery.
