Two Meth Arrests in Mendon

(MENDON)—West Central Illinois Task Force agents report two arrests after they raided a residence at #6 Kropps Court Trailer Park in Mendon. Agents say 57 year old Christina Metz of Mendon and 54 year old Charles Jenkins of Loraine were arrested on methamphetamine manufacturing charges. Authorities say a shake and bake meth lab was seized along with numerous components of the meth manufacturing process. The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team was called in to dispose of hazardous materials. Court records show Metz was on probation from meth charges in Brown County and Jenkins was free on bond on armed violence and stalking charges.
