Accident on Koch’s Lane Sends Two People to the Hospital

At 0944 hours on 08-11-14, QPD responded to an accident with injuries at 24/Koch's Lane with one vehicle on it's side. Investigation revealed Quenton Keating was westbound on Koch's Lane in a 2005 Dodge Ram and disobeyed the traffic control device at 24th Street striking a 2007 Lexus SUV that was southbound. The Lexus was knocked over on it's passenger side and struck the traffic light post in the southwest corner of the intersection. The 49-year-old female driver and 64-year-old male passenger of the Lexus were transported to Blessing Hospital by ambulance. Keating was arrested for disobeying a traffic control device and obstructing justice and lodged in jail.
