6th and Broadway Pedestrian Accident

A Quincy woman is recovering from injuries after being struck by a car at 6th and Broadway in Quincy at 3:34 Tuesday afternoon.

Quincy Police say an SUV driven by 38-year-old Page Jett of Palmyra rolled forward and ran over the foot of 54-year-old Sheila Thomas of Quincy.

Jett told police she stopped for the red light and did not see the pedestrian. Police say Thomas was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.
