The Adams County Health Department reported 40 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Monday, ranging in age from under 20 to 80.

There have now been 4,775 cases of coronavirus in Adams County since the pandemic began, with 559 active cases, 69 hospitalizations, 13 in intensive care and 45 deaths.

The preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests remains low at 4.76%.

Rapid COVID testing continues through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 3200 Broadway in Quincy.
