Monroe City Police report three arrests Tuesday afternoon as they checked on a vehicle
reported to have been involved in a robbery in Hannibal.
In a Facebook post, Monroe City  Police say Hannibal Police ACES officers attempted to make contact with the driver and passengers but the driver took off at a high rate of speed. Hannibal officers followed the SUV to Monroe City despite an attempt by the fleeing vehicle to hit the Hannibal Policevehicle. Monroe City Police say the occupants fled the vehicle in the Park and Gordon Street area and that the driver—Chad Brooks and passengers Kellen Allison and Brittany Chamberlain were taken into custody a short time later. All three are held in the Marion County Jail on a variety of pending charges in Marion, Ralls and Monroe Counties. The Highway Patrol, Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force and Ralls County Sheriff’s deputies assisted.
