The Adams County Health Department Wednesday reported the 28th COVID-19 related death of an Adams County resident, a female in her 50s.

Officials also reported 51 new confirmed coronavirus cases Wednesday, including 31 males age zero to 80s and 20 females age 20s to 70s.

That brings the COVID total in Adams County to 2,469, with 62 hospitalized, ranging in age from 20s to 90s, and seven in intensive care.

The preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests rises to 16.91%.
