Woman In Custody Following Well Being Check in Liberty

Charges are pending following a check well being call in Liberty.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies were called at 7:55 Monday evening to check on
a 46 year old female. When authorities arrived… the report says she would not come out. When officers entered the residence and heard a gunshot. Officers exited the residence and advised the female to come out. The woman eventually left the house and was taken into custody. Sheriff Brian Vonderhaar says the incident is still under investigation and charges are pending. Illinois State Police assisted deputies.
