COVID related restrictions for businesses in western Illinois have been loosened.

The Illinois Department of Public Health Monday announced that Region 3, which includes Hancock, Adams, Brown and Pike counties, has met the metrics to return to Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan.

Under Phase 4, gatherings of up to 50 people are allowed, indoor dining and bar service can reopen, along with barber shops and salons, health and fitness clubs and theaters, with capacity limits and state approved safety guidance.
