With wind chill warnings in effect for the area, a number of warming centers have been designated in a number of communities in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

In Hannibal, the Nutrition Center at 219 South 10th and the Free Public Library at 200 South 5th are official warming centers.

In Quincy, official warming centers are located at the Salvation Army Emergency Shelter at 501 Broadway, the Kroc Center at 405 Vermont and at the Quincy Family YMCA at 3101 Maine.
