Illinois hunters harvested over 151-thousand deer during the 2018-2019 archery and firearm seasons.
That represents an increase of over 38-hundred deer over a year ago. Adams County hunters took a total of 3945 deer. Hunters in Pike County claimed 4436 deer. The total in Hancock County is 2717. Brown County hunters harvested 2324 deer. Hunting started on October 1st for archers and concluded on January 20th at the end of a late winter antlerless and special CWD season.
