Walks to End Alzheimer’s Saturday in Hannibal & Quincy

Supporters of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s will have ample opportunity to put that support on display Saturday.

Both Hannibal and Quincy will host walks Saturday.

While the Quincy walk has been going on for many years, this is the first time Hannibal has served as a host.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association’s Stephanie Orf, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser came to Hannibal to fill a need for assistance for those affected by Alzheimer's in the Hannibal area.

Registration for the Hannibal walk begins at 8 a.m. at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center, with registration in Quincy starting at 8:30 at Clat Adams Park on the riverfront.
