$580,000 is the goal for this year’s United Way of the Mark Twain Area fundraising campaign.

The goal was announced at Wednesday’s kickoff at Home Town Bank in Hannibal. Campaign Chair Gary Broughton says that represents a one to two percent increase over last year’s goal.  Upcoming events include the annual Day of Caring on September 25 and the United Way Radio Auction on KHMO. That is scheduled for October 4.
