Investigators are looking into a fire in a vacant house in Hannibal Saturday night.

Hannibal firefighters were called to 328 South Arch shortly after 10 p-m Saturday. Flames were coming from the second floor as fire crews arrived. Windows were boarded up. The cold temperatures complicated firefighting efforts. Off duty firefighters were called in to provide additional manpower in the cold temperatures.
Hannibal firefighters also battled a house fire over the weekend at 3100 Moberly. That fire started in the kitchen area as the occupants of the house were watching television. The Red Cross is assisting the fire victims.
