Two Quincy Residents Arrested for Car Theft, Meth Possession
A report of a stolen car results in the arrest of two Quincy residents Monday night.
Adams County Sheriff Brian VonderHaar reports a car that had been reported stolen from Kunes Motors in Quincy Monday was located in the parking lot of the Dollar General in Camp Point about 2:30 p.m. Monday.
An investigation led to the arrest of 51 year old Earel Burks and 37 year old Cyrstal Howe.
A search of the car revealed a quantity of methamphetamine.
Burks and Howe are in the Adams County Jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, theft over $500 and possession of meth.
