Superintendent Roy Webb announced Thursday a second student at Iles Elementary School and a student at Quincy Junior High have tested positive.

Webb said students directly involved have been sent home to quarantine for 14 days and families and school staff had been notified.

Also, contact tracing has been done and anyone who was in direct contact with the students have been placed in quarantine as well.

Webb said the district is following the Illinois Department of Public Health and Adams County Health Department guidance.
