Two Killed in Crash East of Shelbina

A one vehicle on US 36 just east of Shelbina at 3:05 Monday morning claims two lives. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a truck driven by 46-year-old Irene Hasty of Huntington, Indiana went off US 36 and into the median and overturned two tenths of a mile east of Shelbina. Troopers say a passenger, 19-year-old Jade Holle of Beatrice, Nebraska was thrown from the truck. Troopers say Hasty and Holle were pronounced dead at the scene by Shelby County Coroner Ralph Eagan.
