Two Hurt in Separate Traffic Crashes Monday
A Hannibal man suffers moderate injuries in a single vehicle crash on Highway 125 south of Strafford in Greene County in southwest Missouri at 12:46 p.m. Monday.
The Highway Patrol reports 20 year old Austin Norris was northbound when his pickup ran off the road and struck a tree.
Norris was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
An Augusta man is hurt in a single vehicle crash on Hancock County Road 2900E at 620N at 8 a.m. Monday.
The Illinois State Police reports 62 year old Loren Gillum, Jr. was northbound approaching the intersection when his brakes malfunctioned. His SUV went through the intersection and into a ditch before striking a tree.
Gillum was taken to a local area hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the crash continues.
