The execution of a search warrant results in the arrests of two Hannibal men Monday afternoon.

Hannibal Police assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Unit served the warrant at a residence on the 400 block of North 8th at 1:09 p.m. Monday.

The search revealed a firearm, substances believed to be heroin and marijuana, items consistent with the distribution of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Officers took 25 year old Devontae Ecford and 20 year old Dashawn Eaves, both of Hannibal into custody.

Ecford was arrested for possession with intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, two Missouri State warrants for traffic violations and a city of Hannibal warrant for failing to comply with court orders.

Eaves was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eaves was released pending prosecutor review. Ecford was taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold, also pending prosecutor review.
