Two Dead Following Canton Fire

Two people are reported dead following a fire early this morning in Canton.

Firefighters were called to a mobile home park the 3rd and Jefferson area in Canton shortly before 1 a-m. The trailer home was gutted. Names of the fire victims have not been released pending notification of family members. A neighbor believes there were electrical problems in the trailer home. Investigators from the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s office is on the scene.
