Two Crashes in Pike County Missouri

(BOWLING GREEN)—A pickup truck collision on Pike County Route J west of County Road 316 at 10:51 Tuesday morning. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a pickup driven by 86 year old Theodore Grote of Bowling Green crossed the center line and collided with a pickup driven by 58 year old John Deters of Bowling Green. The crash report says neither driver was wearing a seat belt. Grote and Deters were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital West for treatment of serious injuries.

(LOUISIANA)—A dump truck rollover crash injures a passenger. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a dump truck driven by 20 year old Nathan Love of Louisiana went off Route U-U and overturned when the driver overcorrected. A passenger—14 year old John Carter of Louisiana was taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana for treatment of minor injuries.
