Two Hannibal residents were arrested on drug related charges Monday.

In a press release, Hannibal Police report that as a result of reported drug activity, officers assigned to the Anti-Crime Enforcement Squad executed a search warrant at a residence at 2506 Chestnut.

The search revealed a substance believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

As a result, 46 year old Scott Colbert and 34 year old Candy Cabanatan were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

The two were released pending a review of the charges by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
