Two Arrested by Hannibal Police for Meth Trafficking

A Hannibal woman and a Quincy man are arrested by Hannibal Police Tuesday night on meth related charges.

HPD reports that Anti-Crime Enforcement Officers arrested 20 year old Courtney Mayfield of Hannibal and 30 year old Donte Clausell of Quincy in the parking lot of a local business for trafficking of methamphetamine.

Officers found Mayfield and Clausell to be in possession of a large amount of a substance believed to be meth.

Both were placed on 24-hour holds at the Marion County Jail pending prosecutor review for drug trafficking.

Mayfield was also arrested on multiple felony warrants and resisting arrest.
