Two Adair County Residents Arrested on Lewis County Meth Charges

A report of a stranded motorist results in the arrest of two Adair County residents in Lewis County Saturday.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports that deputies responded to the call on Highway 6 and Evergreen east of Lewistown to assist 35 year old Amanda Blake of Kirksville and 34 year old Christopher Lake of LaPlata.

A search of their vehicle revealed that Blake and Lake were in possession of methamphetamine.

The two were taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.
Blake and Lake are in the Lewis County Jail on $10,000 cash only bond each.
