The Twain on Main Festival in Hannibal drew strong turnout right up to the 5 p.m. closing time Saturday.

Over 100 booths line Main Street featuring food, crafts and entertainment.

The Preferred Family Healthcare tent attracted a steady stream of kids wanting their faces painted for $2. According to the staff, hundreds of kids were sporting painted faces after visiting their booth Saturday.

Twain on Main celebrates Mark Twain, his literary works and Hannibal’s historical heritage.  The event continues in downtown Hannibal today from 10 to 4, weather permitting.
