Thursday Night Fire Damages Hannibal Residence

Fire Thursday evening results in extensive damage to a Hannibal residence.

Hannibal firefighters were called to the 500 block of Pine around 7 p-m. They
arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews say gas from a damaged
gas meter fed the flames and complicated firefighting efforts. The house sustained
heavy smoke and fire damage. No one was home at the time of the fire. Investigators are working to determine a cause.
