Three Vehicles Collide in Monroe County

A three-vehicle crash in Monroe County sends a Madison, Missouri woman to the hospital. 

Missouri State Troopers say the crash happened on US 24, 4 miles west of Paris at 8:30 Saturday evening.

The mishap began when a pickup driven by 62 year-old Roger Leake of Perry was exiting a private drive onto US 24.  Troopers say Leake entered the roadway in front of a car traveling eastbound on US 24, driven by 43 year old Rebeca Wiley of Madison. Wiley’s vehicle struck the back of Leake’s pickup, causing the pickup to veer off the road and strike the trailer of a semi that was parked on the westbound shoulder.

Wiley sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Moberly Regional Center by ambulance.
