Three Injured in Mark Twain Lake Boat Collision
A collision involving two boats on Mark Twain Lake late Saturday afternoon injures three.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol Division says a boat operated by 23 year old Austin Utterback of Montrose Iowa traveled over the wake of another boat and hit the side of a slowing vessel operated by 41 year old Benjamin Ralph of
Niota Illinois. The collision occurred at 5:15 Saturday afternoon near Ely Branch Cove. Ralph sustained minor injuries. Two passengers in his boat were also injured. 7 year old Liam McEntee of Niota sustained minor injuries. 41 year old Stephanie McEntee sustained serious injuries. All three were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.
