Officers of the Hannibal Police Department responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Hill St Thursday afternoon, in an attempt to locate a subject with an active narcotics warrant.

Officers received consent to search the residence and located several items of drug paraphernalia. A search warrant for the residence was obtained and executed.

During the course of the search, drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be methamphetamine was located.

Three Hannibal residents, Barbara M. Gott, 55; Tabitha M. Campbell, 30; and Rodney A. Powell, 41, were arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Powell was also arrested on an active narcotics warrant. Campbell and Gott were released pending warrants. Powell was placed ine the Marion County Jail on the warrant.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
