Three Hannibal Men Arrested on Burglary, Weapons Charges

Hannibal Police respond to a report of a burglary at an apartment in the 200 block of South 5th at 10:56 p.m. Sunday.

The resident told officers he awoke to someone hitting him with a blunt object and others stealing his belongings. The suspects fled the apartment on foot.

A short time later, officers arrested 25 year old Joshua Boss and 20 year old Preston Blue in a residence in the 1300 block of Park Avenue. Also taken into custody was 17 year old Damon Kyle of Hannibal.

All three are charged with robbery and burglary. Boss and Blue are also charged with unlawful use of a weapon. The three were put on 24 holds at the Marion County Jail.

The victim of the burglary suffered head injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
