Three COVID Deaths, 47 New Cases in Adams County Thursday

The Adams County Health Department reported three more Adams County residents have died of COVID related illness, a male in his 70s, a males in his 80s and a female in her 90s, bringing the death count to 54.

Officials also reported 47 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Adams County Thursday.

There have now been 5,261 COVID cases, with 486 active, 47 hospitalized, age 30s to 90s and seven in intensive care.

The preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests in Adams County is 4.27%.

Rapid COVID testing continues at 3200 Broadway until further notice, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 10 to 2.
