The Hannibal Arts Council recognized several community members at its Annual Meeting and Paragon Art Awards on August 16.

Spotlighting the creative abilities of those with developmental disabilities is the focus of the next exhibit at the Hannibal Arts Council. Celebrate the Artist in You with be on display at HAC from May 9 through May 19.

The communities of Hannibal and Canton recently hosted a two-day plein air painting event. Thirty-seven different area, regional and Midwest artists were involved in the events.

The Hannibal Arts Council will host a free Casual Classics concert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St. The concert will feature holiday classics and hymns performed by the Palmyra United Methodist Church choir. Admission is free and open to the public and is part of the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council’s Victorian Festival of Christmas.
