The Hannibal Arts Council will host a free Casual Classics concert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St. The concert will feature holiday classics and hymns performed by the Palmyra United Methodist Church choir. Admission is free and open to the public and is part of the Historic Hannibal Marketing Council’s Victorian Festival of Christmas.

The choir is directed by Becky White. Members are: JoAnn Anderson, Connie Schmidt, Gayle Hurst, Farrell Church, Tracy Fountain, Becky Cissna, Denny Swisher, Elaine Durand, Marquita Bannon, Chris Fountain, Gene Wharton, Doug Aeilts and Jim Cissna.

The choir will perform such holiday favorites as “Come Emmanuel”, “Go Tell It On the Mountain”, “Sing We Now of Christmas”, “A Glorious Night”, “Mary Did You Know”, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, “O Holy Night”, “What Child Is This” and “Noel Noel!”
