There is a delay in the start of late voting in Adams County.

A mandatory injunction issued Thursday means Adams County voters turned away at the polls Tuesday because of a ballot shortage will get another chance to cast their votes.

Despite the fact that the vote totals may not be known for another two weeks, Jennifer Cifaldi has conceded defeat in the Adams County State’s Attorney’s race.

State election officials have been asked to look into the shortage of ballots in Adams County that resulted in some voters being turned away in Tuesday’s primary election.
