Supportive Living Facility Proposed at 48th & Maine in Quincy

A multi floor 10 million dollar supportive living facility is planned near 48th and Maine in Quincy.

Northwest Illinois Holdings LLC plans to build and operate the 85 unit facility using a state license transferred from the former Newcomb Hotel property.

The project is contingent upon a zoning change for the five acre property. The Quincy Plan Commission will discuss the matter at their June meeting. Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore says no City of Quincy Incentive dollars were used to land the project.

Construction could begin as soon as late this year with completion in late 2015 or early 2016.
