Suddenly Red Lobsters Close – Wisconsin Restaurants Impacted

If you were in the mood for Red Lobster today, the one near you in Wisconsin may or may not be open as dozens suddenly closed today and locations in Wisconsin have been confirmed affected.

This surprise move by Red Lobster was reported on by USA Today which listed 87 different locations that have "temporarily closed" signs on the door. Their long list of impacted restaurants includes these two Red Lobster franchises in Wisconsin.

Red Lobster - 2801 North Mayfair Road - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53222

While the signs may say temporarily closed, Fast Company reports more dire proceedings including rumors of bankruptcy plans and the auctioning off of equipment. It's very important to note that no confirmation of bankruptcy or auction plans have been confirmed by Red Lobster as of the date of this writing.

Let's hope the "temporary closings" of these two Wisconsin Red Lobster locations truly are temporary and that affected staff will not lose jobs.
