Starman Sentenced to Prison for Sexual Abuse

A Loraine woman gets prison time after originally getting probation in a sexual abuse case.

31-year-old Nicole Starman was sentenced to three years in prison in Adams County Circuit Court. She had originally been sentenced to probation after admitting to performing oral sex on a 14 year old boy in Adams County in October of 2013.

Prosecutors sought to have Starman’s probation revoked after she was caught drinking alcohol during periodic imprisonment and was unsuccessfully discharged from sex offender treatment.

Along with prison time, Starman is required to register as a sex offender and cannot have any contact with the victim.
