Almost immediately after being confirmed by the USGS, dozens of Missourians started reporting that they felt this quake.

Registered as a 3.7 magnitude quake, this is the 2nd strongest New Madrid Fault quake of 2024 so far with only a 3.8 magnitude quake on May 16, 2024 being stronger. This quake wasn't nearly strong enough to do any real damage, but it was likely felt by hundreds in southern Missouri.

As this is a developing story, it will be updated if new information is provided by the USGS.

UPDATE: The 3.7 has now been followed up by a 2.1 confirmed by the USGS which just happened 13 minutes after the initial quake. And, Sunday morning, there was also a 2.2 earthquake near Bull Shoals Lake.
