Seasonal temperatures and slight chances of rain and/or snow through the week are ahead for the last week of January for northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters say there are 20 percent chance of rain and snow through mid-afternoon Monday, a similar chance of rain Wednesday night and Thursday, and likewise a chance of rain and snow Saturday and Saturday night.

Other than a high of 53 on Wednesday, forecast high temperatures will top out in the low to mid 40s through Saturday and drop to the mid-30s Sunday.

Lows will range from the upper 20s to mid 30s through the week, then drop to 20 Saturday night.
