A Moberly child was rushed to the hospital after the ATV she was operating collided with a pickup in Monroe County. 

The Missouri Highway Patrol says 6-year-old Kailan Johnston had been riding a Mini Quad ATV on private property in Madison. Shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, Johnston rode onto Olive Street and was struck by a pickup driven by 72-year-old William Cullom of Madison.

Johnston sustained moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance.
