A two-vehicle crash in Lewis County sends seven people to the ER. 

The Highway Patrol reports the vehicles collided on Route D, one mile south of LaBelle at 10:45 p.m. Saturday.  The crash occurred when a northbound car driven by 19 year-old Brooklyn Myers of Knox City crossed the center line and struck a southbound pickup driven by 37 year-old Dale Hartsock of LaBelle.

The impact caused the truck to overturn several times. Hartsock sustained serious injuries. Three passengers were ejected from the Hartsock pickup: 27 year-old Joseph Chatfield and 23 year-old Matthew Norcross, both of LaBelle had serious injuries, and  twenty-three year-old Kendall Zajac of Ursa suffered moderate injuries.  A fourth passenger, 36 year-old Cory Leach of Quincy  sustained moderate injuries.

Myers suffered moderate injuries.  Her infant daughter, Amiya Smith, was reported unharmed but went to the hospital as a precaution.

All accident victims were transported to Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
